Our Environment
Bethany Preschool is a positive developmental environment where we strive to nurture the whole child – spiritually, emotionally, physically and academically! We are committed to providing a total educational experience for children from age 18 months through 12 years—entry into kindergarten and school-aged children (5-12 yrs) after school and during the summer.

It is the vision of BPS to partner with parents in supporting each child’s full development. Our aim is to create an environment where children develop a solid foundation of cultivating a rich relationship with God, self, and the world around them.
FAITH
BPS Faith and History
Bethany Preschool was established as a mission of Bethany Lutheran Church, a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, in September of 1983 and has continued to grow into the school we know and love today. BPS fulfills the church’s mission of ‘being, living as, and making disciples of Jesus Christ’ bearing witness to the Living, Triune God.

“Welcome to Bethany Preschool! A very sunny spot in Fredericksburg because of the love, warmth and brightness that the children bring to our school every day. We are truly blessed to be able to work with these amazing children. One of our many goals is to provide an environment where building confidence, self-esteem, creativity and kind citizenship are a high priority. We strive to meet all areas of your child’s development by lovingly applying the principle of God’s word, along with our expertise in the field of early childhood education. We believe that learning and playing go hand in hand, and we provide developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities for different ages and stages of the child. Our hope is that we will treasure this time together as our children discover this unique environment where we celebrate the joys of childhood”

Progress reports will be sent home to parents. All parents will have the opportunity to meet with teachers regarding the reports.

Texas Made Texas Raised is our biggest fundraised of the year! Check our Facebook and Instagram for updates on this event.

Easter “Special Day”
We will celebrate and remember the reason for Easter with stories, games, and fun that reflects the sacrafice our Savior made for us.

We observe Good Friday as a special time to reflect on the goodness and grace of Jesus Christ.

We value parent feedback and want to set aside time to have the sweet, fun, and sometimes difficult conversations with you.

We have many fundraisers throughout the year that are great opportunities to donate or volunteer! Go to our Giving tab to see how you can donate and support BPS. We also have a Parent’s Club that gives parents access to how and when to volunteer and whatever needs the school may have!
